White Squirrel Clayworks Studio Tour
Step inside White Squirrel Clayworks and see where it’s made!
As part of the tour, each attendee will receive a unique White Squirrel Ornament to take home as a keepsake. Or, if you prefer, you can redeem your ornament for $5 toward any purchase in The Squirrel’s Nest that day. Limit one ornament redemption per person, per purchase.
Our studio tour gives you a behind-the-scenes look at how our handmade pottery goes from a simple piece of clay to the finished pieces you see in our store. You’ll walk through our working studio, learn about our process, see the tools and equipment we use, and get an up-close look at glazing, kilns, and the many steps that go into creating our pottery.
Along the way, we’ll share a little of the White Squirrel Clayworks story, how our studio has grown, and what it takes to keep a busy pottery studio running.
After your tour, spend some time exploring The Squirrel’s Nest, our retail store filled with pottery and the other products we make.
Come see where it’s made—and meet the people behind the pottery!

White Squirrel Clayworks reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel a tour, guests will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.
Children
Children are welcome but must remain with and be supervised by an adult at all times.
Because this is an active working pottery studio, children may not run, wander away from the group, or touch studio equipment, pottery, materials, or tools unless specifically invited to do so.
Working Studio & Safety
White Squirrel Clayworks is an active, working pottery studio—not a traditional visitor or museum environment. Guests may encounter kilns, pottery equipment, tools, shelving, wet floors, clay, glaze materials, and other normal studio conditions.
Pottery studios are naturally dusty environments. Clay and other materials used in our day-to-day production can create dust throughout the studio. Guests who are sensitive to dust or have concerns about being in a dusty environment should take this into consideration before booking a tour.
For everyone's safety, guests must remain with the tour group and follow all instructions provided by White Squirrel Clayworks staff.
Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Restrooms
There are no public restroom facilities available at White Squirrel Clayworks.
Guests needing a restroom before or after their tour may visit Discount Drug Mart, located just a few properties south of our studio on Route 58. We recommend planning accordingly before your scheduled tour time.
Accessibility
Our tour takes place within an active working studio environment. If you or someone in your group has accessibility needs, please contact us before booking so we can discuss accommodations and help make your visit as enjoyable as possible.
What You'll See
Because White Squirrel Clayworks is an active production studio, what you see happening during your visit will vary from day to day.
Certain processes, equipment, kilns, or production areas may not be operating during every tour. That's part of visiting a real working pottery studio!
Photography & Video
To protect our designs, processes, and working environment, we ask that no photography or video recording be taken inside the White Squirrel Clayworks production studio.
Photography and video are welcome in The Squirrel's Nest retail store and in our outdoor areas, and we encourage you to capture a few memories of your visit there.
Thank you for respecting our working studio and the creativity that happens behind the scenes.
White Squirrel Ornament
Each paid tour attendee will receive one unique White Squirrel Ornament.
Your ornament may be kept as a souvenir or redeemed for $5 toward a purchase in The Squirrel's Nest on the day of your tour.
Limit one ornament redemption per person, per purchase.
Ornament redemption is valid only on the date of the scheduled tour.
The ornament must be surrendered at checkout to receive the $5 credit.
Ornament redemption has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
No change or remaining balance will be given if the qualifying purchase is less than $5.
Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings. White Squirrel Clayworks is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
Guest Conduct
We want everyone to have an enjoyable and safe experience. Guests must follow instructions provided by White Squirrel Clayworks staff and remain within designated tour areas.
White Squirrel Clayworks reserves the right to end a guest's participation in the tour if they behave in an unsafe or disruptive manner, enter restricted areas, interfere with studio operations, or fail to follow staff instructions. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
Agreement
By completing your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these White Squirrel Clayworks Studio Tour Terms & Conditions.
We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to showing you where it's made!
